Class Descriptions

We ask that students please try to pre-register for all classes when possible. In order to keep the studio viable we will require a minimum of two people to run each class. If there is less than two people signed in one hour before class it will be cancelled. If you were the only one registered for a class that is cancelled, your pass will go back into your account.

Align & Unwind

Thursdays

5:30 - 6:30 PM

This class will bring breath and movement together as you strengthen and stretch the body with savasana that brings the mind to a point of stillness. With a focus on alignment, this class offers variations in the postures so that you can cater the practice to your own liking. 

Calm & Centered

Saturdays

10:00 - 11:00 AM

(Rotating Instructors)

Start your weekend with a gentle Hatha Yoga practice. This class uses postures (asana) and conscious breathing (pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Through proper alignment and mindful actions of the body, the aim is to bring balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner. Gentle yoga brings balance to a hectic schedule and classes are appropriate for students of all levels.

Candlelight Yoga

Tuesdays & Thursdays

8:00 - 9:00 PM

The stress of a busy day will melt away as you enter our  darkened, spacious yoga room filled with candlelight and soothing music. With a focus on connecting to your breath, you’ll make your way through poses preparing your body and mind to unwind from the day’s activities.  This class strikes the perfect balance between movement & stillness and strength & surrender. It will leave you open, refreshed and at peace. Candlelight class will prepare your body & mind for a good night's sleep. All levels welcome

Chair Yoga

Wednesdays

10:00-11:00 AM

In this class you can experience the many benefits of yoga, like increased strength, balance and flexibility, without having to get up or down from the floor. This form of yoga practiced sitting in a chair and standing using a chair for support will still challenge you.  Yoga meets you where you are. Decrease stress and increase your range of motion with Chair Yoga. Start on the path to wellness, everyone is welcome. 

Deep Stretch Yin

Wednesdays

5:30 - 6:30 PM

Yin Yoga is a quiet, meditative practice that uses long-held passive poses to enhance and renew the body’s vital energy, prevent joint rigidity and immobility, and nourish the body at the cellular level.

 

Yin aids with digestion, muscle repair, organ detoxification and emotional processing. The long held postures allow the connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, joints, and fascia) to strengthen, and with a consistent practice you will notice postural improvement, increased ease in movement and an overall balanced being. 

 

This is a perfect compliment to more yang styles of exercise (such as power yoga, running, crossfit, HIIT, skiing or biking), Yin Yoga addresses tightness and toxin buildup in the joints and connective tissue through poses that are equally challenging for the mind and body. The result is not only more lubricated and flexible joints, but also a greater sense of balance, peace, and calm. Props make the practice accessible to people of all abilities.

This is an all levels class, appropriate for beginners and those new to yoga.

Lengthen & Let Go

Mondays & Wednesdays

8:00 - 9:00PM

This class is designed to bring the four bodies into balance for optimal health. When our Physical, Emotional, Mental & Spiritual bodies are balanced, we feel better, sleep better and move throughout our days with more ease. This calm yet in-depth practice is a sequence of postures that increases flexibility and strength, releasing the chronic tension that can dull our vitality. You will end your practice with a deep relaxing savasana as energy naturally flows to the areas of your body that need it most!

Move, Breathe, Sweat

Tuesdays

5:30 - 6:30 PM

If you enjoy the physical challenge or workout that yoga can bring, this is the class for you! The room is warm, not hot but be prepared to sweat as you will create internal heat! Sweat out the stress from your day as you gain flexibility, balance, endurance & strength. Expect to hear contemporary music thrown in the mix. Knowledge of sun salutations and a basic knowledge of Yoga poses is strongly recommended.

Straight Up Stretch

Tuesdays

6:45-7:45PM PM 

This is not a yoga class. Improve the flexibility of your joints and muscles with our stretch classes. Stretching is a vital component in any fitness regime and our experienced fitness instructors will lead you through a series of stretches. Whether you’re a fitness newbie or a professional level athlete, stretching can help to boost the effectiveness of your workout routine. **Please bring fresh white socks to help protect our walls. Thank you so much!

Sunday Reset

Sundays

7:00 - 8:00PM

Ease into your week with a gentle Hatha class to help lengthen, relax, and let go of the previous week and weekend. This class will focus on breath and alignment in the postures, as well as intention-setting and gratitude. An uplifting yoga practice to move, stretch and re-align you; the perfect way to finish your weekend and get ready for the week ahead! All levels welcome.

TGIF

Fridays:

5:30-6:30 PM

THANK GOODNESS IT’S FRIDAY!  This class incorporates movement, strength and balance poses followed by a restful savasana in an awesome hour to end your week! TGIF is the perfect class to de-stress from your week and start your weekend off right.
