Introducing our newest community gathering: Yoga Book Club! Join us every 4-6 weeks as we discuss different books and readings, led by senior teacher, Lori Whitby. This free event will dive deeper into the world of yoga and be a time for us to connect on a deeper level outside of class.
OPEN TO EVERYONE and FREE OF CHARGE. However do ask you to pre-register below and bring a donation of non-perishable food for the Food Bank or pet food for the Animal Shelter. November's gathering will be on a Saturday at 11:15AM, after the Calm & Centered Yoga class, if you wish to attend it beforehand. January's will be held on a Sunday.
The Slave Lake Yoga community is full of avid readers and this club will offer an opportunity and is perfect for those who enjoy sharing conversations about good books with each other.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck by Mark Manson
There are only so many things we can give a f**k about so we need to figure out which ones really matter, Manson makes clear. While money is nice, caring about what you do with your life is better, because true wealth is about experience. A much-needed grab-you-by-the-shoulders-and-look-you-in-the-eye moment of real-talk, filled with entertaining stories and profane, ruthless humor, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**k is a refreshing slap for a generation to help them lead contented, grounded lives.
